강남 '극단선택' 경비원 동료들 "관리책임자 퇴출하라"

서울 강남의 한 아파트에서 70대 경비원이 갑질 피해를 호소하며 극단적 선택을 한 지 50일을 맞아 동료 경비원들이 관리소장 퇴출과 노동환경 개선을 재차 촉구했다.

민주노총 전국민주일반노조와 이 아파트 경비노동자들은 3일 오전 아파트 정문 앞에서 기자회견을 열어 "사태 핵심으로 지목된 관리소장은 여전히 아파트에 출근하고 있고 오히려 동료의 억울한 죽음을 밝히고자 했던 경비대장은 부당하게 해고됐다"고 주장했다.

이들은 "아파트 입주자대표회의는 관리소장 소속 위탁관리업체와 계약을 해지하겠다고 결정했지만 관리소장 고용은 유지하겠다고 한다"며 "관리소장 즉각 퇴출과 해고된 경비대장 복직을 요구했다.

이들은 3개월짜리 초단기계약을 근절해 인간적 노동환경을 보장하라고도 했다.
3월 말 해고됐다는 전 경비대장 이길재 씨는 "관리소장은 경비원들에게 부당한 지시를 하고 인사권을 남용해 불안감을 조성해왔다"며 "고인을 죽음으로 이끈 이를 처벌해달라"고 목소리를 높였다.

지난 3월14일 이 아파트 경비원으로 11년간 일한 박모(74)씨는 '관리책임자의 갑질 때문에 힘들다'는 내용의 유서를 휴대전화로 촬영해 동료들에게 전송한 뒤 아파트 9층에서 투신해 숨졌다.

동료들은 관리소장이 입주자대표회의 회장의 비호 아래 박씨에게 부당한 인사조처를 하고 인격을 모독해 박씨가 극단적 선택을 했다고 주장하고 있다.
