The Korean Confederation of Trade Unions has fought for human rights and worker unions in South Korea since 1995. Now, KCTU is turning its efforts toward supporting workers in the supplementary education sector: unrepresented foreign and Korean teachers and adjacent staff working in hagwons, public schools, and public after-school programs. KCTU seeks to support and organize education workers in their fight for fair labor protections and practices.

For this gathering, we call on ALL unrepresented education workers to stand with us and show the Korean public the great extent of labor and human rights abuses happening to teachers and staff who teach and care for the children of this country every day.
